About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Digital Architect to design and deliver next-generation cloud-native digital platforms on AWS and Azure. This role focuses on architecting scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-efficient enterprise solutions using distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and up-to-date cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, define solution architecture, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate closely with Product, Security, and Operations teams to build high-performance digital platforms that support enterprise-scale business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Solution Architecture

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native solutions on AWS (and Azure where applicable).
- Define end-to-end architecture for distributed and event-driven applications.
- Develop High-Level Design (HLD) documents and review Low-Level Designs (LLDs) to ensure architectural consistency.
- Ensure solutions follow enterprise architecture standards and cloud best practices.

Technical Leadership
- Translate business and product requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor development teams and conduct architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Promote engineering excellence and architectural governance across teams.

Performance & Scalability
- Design systems optimized for high availability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies.
- Establish monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting standards.
- Drive continuous improvements in system performance and operational efficiency.

Security & Compliance




- Partner with security teams to implement secure-by-design architecture.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and governance policies.
- Design secure authentication, authorization, and API integration strategies.

Cloud Cost Optimization
- Design cost-efficient cloud architectures.
- Establish cloud governance practices and optimize infrastructure utilization.
- Drive FinOps initiatives including monitoring cloud spend and resource optimization.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10–15+ years of progressive experience in Software Engineering and Solution Architecture.
- Extensive experience designing enterprise-scale cloud-native applications.
- Proven experience leading architecture discussions and mentoring engineering teams.
