Role Description The Lead AI Engineer will drive the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions that support Appzlogic’s products and client projects. This full-time, in office role is based in New Delhi and involves leading technical initiatives, guiding a team of engineers, and collaborating closely with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust AI architectures. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and optimizing ML models, integrating AI services into enterprise applications,



ensuring scalability and performance in production environments, and maintaining strong security and compliance practices.

The Lead AI Engineer will also review code, define best practices, conduct technical audits, and mentor team members to maintain high engineering standards. Additionally, the role includes staying current with emerging AI technologies, evaluating new tools and frameworks, and contributing to the overall AI strategy and roadmap.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles; proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI (such as Python, Java, or similar).
- Experience designing, training, and deploying machine learning and deep learning models, including familiarity with popular ML frameworks and libraries and MLOps practices.
- Ability to architect and implement scalable AI solutions within cloud or enterprise environments, integrating models into production systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Understanding of data engineering concepts, including data pipelines, data preprocessing, and working with structured and unstructured datasets to support AI initiatives.
- Knowledge of security and compliance considerations in AI systems, including handling sensitive data, managing access controls, and aligning with cybersecurity best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in technical leadership, including mentoring engineers, conducting code and design reviews, and setting engineering standards for AI projects.
