About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Lead with 16+ years of overall experience to join our client’s team in Lagos, Nigeria.

Candidates with strong experience in the Oil & Gas or Mining industry will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage SAP ABAP development and technical activities.
- Design, develop, test, and implement SAP ABAP solutions.
- Handle complex ABAP developments, enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and conversions.
- Work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to ABAP developers.
- Review technical specifications, code quality, and development standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
- Support SAP implementation, integration, and enhancement projects.
- Ensure timely delivery of technical solutions while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of SAP technical processes.

Required Skills

- 16+ years of SAP ABAP experience.
- Strong expertise in SAP ABAP development and technical architecture.
- Excellent knowledge of Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs,



and related ABAP technologies.
- Experience in SAP implementation and support projects.
- Strong debugging and performance-tuning capabilities.
- Experience leading technical teams or ABAP development activities.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Oil & Gas / Mining industry experience is highly preferred.
