About the Role

ShantaQuant Technologies Private Limited is looking for an LLB-qualified Legal Associate / Legal Executive to support our legal technology products and day-to-day legal operations.

The candidate will work closely with our legal and technology teams on legal research, case-law research, legal document preparation, legal content verification, drafting support, case information analysis, and legal-tech product development.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Indian law, valuable legal research skills, attention to detail, and an interest in using technology to improve legal workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct legal research on Indian laws, rules, regulations, and case laws.
- Research judgments, statutes, sections, legal provisions, and relevant precedents.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing legal documents and drafts.
- Assist advocates and the internal legal team with legal research and documentation.
- Review legal documents for accuracy, consistency, formatting, and completeness.
- Assist with preparation of petitions, applications, notices, agreements, legal letters, and other legal documents.
- Research information relating to court cases and case proceedings.
- Assist with analysing case details, CNR information, case status, orders, and judgments.
- Verify legal information and content used in the company's legal technology platform.




- Help organize and structure legal information for use in legal-tech applications.
- Support the team in preparing legal templates and document formats.
- Review AI-generated legal drafts for legal accuracy and identify incorrect or missing information.
- Work with the technology team to improve legal workflows and features in the EaseLaw platform.
- Assist in testing legal features and provide legal feedback to the development team.
- Identify relevant legal provisions and case-law references for specific legal queries.
- Maintain proper records of legal research and documentation.
- Stay updated with relevant changes in laws, rules, procedures, and important judgments.

Required Qualification
- LLB / LL.B. degree from a recognized institution.
- Good understanding of Indian legal system and legal terminology.
- Good knowledge of basic legal research methods.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand judgments, statutes, and legal documents.
- Good attention to detail.




- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with legal research platforms and databases.
- Familiarity with Indian courts and court procedures.
- Knowledge of eCourts and CNR-based case information.
- Experience in legal drafting or documentation.
- Knowledge of Civil and Criminal Law.
- Knowledge of Constitutional Law.
- Knowledge of Contract Law.
- Familiarity with legal technology or AI-based legal tools.
- Basic computer skills and ability to work with web-based applications.
- Good MS Word / Google Docs skills.
- Interest in LegalTech, AI, and technology-driven legal services.

Experience Freshers with an LLB degree may apply.

Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in legal research, legal documentation, litigation support, legal drafting, law firms, courts, or legal-tech companies will be preferred.
