Role Description This is a full-time, in office Lastmile Operations role based in Vijayawada. The role involves overseeing daily last-mile delivery operations, including route planning, load allocation, and dispatch coordination to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. The individual will monitor performance metrics, manage service-level adherence, and resolve operational issues related to delivery exceptions, returns, and customer escalations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with hub teams, delivery partners, and customer support, optimizing delivery processes, and implementing standard operating procedures for safety, compliance, and efficiency.



The role also includes supporting new initiatives, participating in local business development activities, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience at the point of delivery.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Operations Management and Project Management skills to handle day-to-day last-mile processes, implement SOPs, and drive performance improvements.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret operational data, delivery metrics, and capacity utilization, and to recommend actionable optimizations.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, delivery partners, and customers, and to manage escalations professionally.
- Candidates should possess Sales and customer-orientation skills to support local growth initiatives, promote Delhivery’s services, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or field operations is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high standards of reliability and integrity.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools (Excel, dashboards, mobile apps) and willingness to learn new logistics technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
