About the Role

Marvel Pathology Lab Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Lab Technician to join our diagnostic laboratory team. The candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests accurately, maintaining quality standards, handling laboratory equipment, and ensuring proper documentation of test results.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine and specialized pathology laboratory tests as per SOPs.
- Handle and process various clinical samples including blood, urine, stool, swabs, and other specimens.
- Operate and maintain laboratory analyzers and equipment.
- Ensure proper sample collection, identification, labeling, processing, and storage.
- Perform hematology, biochemistry, clinical pathology, and other relevant tests according to qualifications and experience.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, QC reports, and laboratory registers.
- Follow internal quality control and laboratory safety procedures.
- Identify and report abnormal or critical results to the concerned senior/doctor.
- Ensure proper calibration, cleaning, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Monitor reagents, consumables, and laboratory stock and report shortages.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and biosafety standards in the laboratory.




- Coordinate with doctors, phlebotomists, front-office staff, and other laboratory team members.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and maintaining smooth laboratory operations.
- Train and guide junior laboratory technicians when required.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory SOPs and applicable quality standards.

Required Qualification
- DMLT / BMLT / B.Sc. MLT / M.Sc. MLT or relevant qualification.
- 4–8 years of relevant pathology/diagnostic laboratory experience.
- Valuable practical knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment.
- Knowledge of laboratory quality control and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with automated laboratory analyzers.
- Knowledge of LIS/Laboratory software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple samples and work under pressure.
- Good knowledge of sample processing and troubleshooting.
