Job Purpose:

Responsible for advanced-level diagnosis, troubleshooting, component-level repair and restoration of defective electronic boards used in LED/LCD/Interactive Display panels. The engineer should be capable of identifying complex hardware failures and repairing boards to component level rather than replacing the complete board.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform L4-level troubleshooting and repair of:

Main Boards / Motherboards

Power Boards / SMPS

T-Con Boards

LED Driver Boards

Logic / Control Boards

Interface and I/O Boards

Inverter and DC-DC power circuits

Diagnose faults at component level using circuit diagrams, schematics and service manuals.

Identify and replace defective ICs, MOSFETs, capacitors, resistors, diodes, regulators, transistors, connectors and other SMD components.

Troubleshoot power supply, standby, booting, display, backlight, HDMI/USB/LAN and communication-related failures.

Use diagnostic equipment such as:

Digital Mustimeter

DC Power Supply

Hot Air Rework Station

Soldering/Rework Station

Perform short-circuit and voltage-level analysis at board/component level.

Repair multilayer PCBs and perform SMD/BGA-related rework where required.

Conduct functional testing after repair and ensure the board meets required performance standards.





Analyze repeated failures and identify root cause (RCA).

Support L1/L2/L3 engineers with difficult or unresolved technical issues.

Maintain repair records, failure codes, component consumption and repair history.

Prepare technical reports for repeated/critical failures.

Maintain ESD and safety standards during all repair activities.

Required Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.

Excellent understanding of SMPS and power supply circuits.

Positive knowledge of MOSFET, IGBT, PWM, regulators and DC-DC converters.

Ability to read and understand schematics and PCB layouts.

Strong SMD soldering and component-level repair skills.

Understanding of HDMI, USB, LVDS/eDP and other display interfaces.

Ability to perform fault isolation and root-cause analysis.

Experience in repairing boards rather than simply replacing PCBs.

Qualification

Education: ITI/Diploma /B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical or related field.

Preferred Experience:

1–3+ years in electronics repair, preferably in LED/LCD TV, Interactive Flat Panel Display, Digital

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
