We are looking for a highly skilled Kotlin + Java Engineer with strong backend development experience. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot,
REST APIs, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, and modern development tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Skilled and experienced in Kotlin, Java with the ability to produce clean and maintainable
Object oriented code
- Skilled and experienced in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript
object model
- Proficient in development of unit tests including effect assets and mocks
- Experience and thorough understanding of Spring & Spring Boot and their core
principles
- Experience with development of RESTful APIs
- Experience in modern authorisation mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Experience with modern build pipelines and tools - Docker, Git(Github, Gitlab,Bitbucket,
SVN)
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical
Requirements
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Robust understanding of database concepts and ability to write complex and optimised
queries in PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with code versioning tools
