Role Description The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will support ongoing and new research projects by conducting literature reviews, collecting and analyzing data, and assisting in the preparation of research reports and publications.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing research methodologies under the guidance of senior faculty, maintaining accurate records of experiments or fieldwork, and contributing to presentations, seminars, and conferences. The JRF will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, help with project documentation and compliance, and may assist in mentoring student research interns.
This is a full-time, in office role based at Amity University Patna, requiring regular presence on campus for research activities and academic engagements.
Qualifications
- Strong research aptitude, including experience with literature review, data collection, and basic data analysis.
- Ability to design and apply research methodologies, with attention to accuracy, documentation, and ethical research practices.
- Proficiency in academic writing, report preparation, and presentation of research findings.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with faculty, peers, and students in a research-focused environment.
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution; eligibility as per applicable funding agency or university norms for JRF positions.
- Familiarity with research tools, statistical software, or laboratory techniques (as applicable to the specific department or project) is an advantage.
- Demonstrated interest in contributing to societal impact through research and innovation.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet project deadlines.
