Role Description The Junior Quantity Surveyor will support project teams in managing costs and quantities across construction projects in Gurugram. This full-time, on-site role involves assisting in preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), tracking project costs, and helping with cost planning and reporting. The role includes collecting and analyzing data from site engineers and contractors, updating cost records, and preparing basic cost summaries and reports for senior team members.

Surveyor will also help in evaluating variations, monitoring budgets against actual expenditures,



and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date. Collaboration with senior quantity surveyors, project managers, and engineering staff is expected to maintain clear communication and support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in cost-related skills, including Cost Control and Cost Management.
- Ability to work with BOQ, including preparation, review, and basic analysis.
- Knowledge of Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to support budgeting and project monitoring.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and project workflows.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software for data analysis and reporting.
- Valuable numerical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with site and office teams.
- Willingness to learn, take guidance from senior professionals, and adapt to project requirements.
