Role Description The Junior and Mid Level Rebar Detailer/Estimator roles are full time, on-site positions based in Salem. In these roles, team members prepare rebar shop drawings, bar bending schedules, and detailed quantity takeoffs based on structural and architectural drawings.

Daily responsibilities include interpreting design documents, modeling and detailing rebar layouts, coordinating with internal teams to resolve drawing discrepancies, and updating drawings and schedules to reflect project revisions. Detailers/Estimators also support project coordination, verify quantities for bids,



and ensure that all deliverables align with client standards and construction specifications. Junior team members focus on learning standards, tools, and workflows under supervision, while mid-level professionals take on more complex detailing tasks, independent coordination, and quality checks of project documentation.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Rebar and Steel Detailing for structural elements and reinforcement layouts.
- Ability to read and interpret Shop Drawings and Architectural Drawings with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Steel Structures and their reinforcement requirements in building and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD; familiarity with tools such as RebarCAD, aSa, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
- Foundation in structural or civil engineering concepts; diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field preferred.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and project coordinators.
- Strong numerical aptitude, accuracy in quantity takeoffs, and ability to work to deadlines with minimal errors.
- For mid-level roles: prior experience in rebar detailing/estimating and handling independent detailing assignments and coordination tasks.
