Role Description The Junior Merchandiser is a full-time, in office role based in Coimbatore. This position is responsible for assisting in planning and selecting Prepster school-wear assortments, tracking inventory levels, and coordinating with production teams to ensure timely availability of products. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing sales data, monitoring market trends, preparing product presentations, and supporting visual merchandising activities for retail and institutional clients.

The Junior

Merchandiser also collaborates with the sales and marketing teams to align product offerings with customer needs and brand objectives.



The role involves regular communication with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain smooth merchandising operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
- Candidates should possess foundational Sales and Retail skills to support product assortments, store displays, and sales initiatives.
- Candidates should possess basic Marketing skills to help position Prepster merchandise and support promotional activities.
- Candidates should possess good analytical and organizational skills to work with sales reports, inventory data, and merchandising calendars.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail and a strong sense of style and product aesthetics relevant to school-wear.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, collaborate in a team environment, and manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; entry-level experience in merchandising or retail is an advantage.
