Role Summary

Indira University is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer to support the Project Department in planning, execution, and monitoring of civil construction and maintenance activities. The role involves close coordination with senior engineers, project leadership, contractors, consultants, and site teams to ensure projects are executed as per approved drawings, quality standards, safety norms, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in supervising day-to-day civil construction and maintenance activities at project sites.
- Read and interpret structural, architectural, civil, and MEP drawings.
- Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and report progress to Senior Engineers / Project Manager.
- Verify dimensions, levels, alignment, and quality of construction work.
- Certify quantities, measurements (JMR), contractor bills, and ensure proper work completion and handover documentation.
- Maintain daily site reports, material records, work logs, and progress reports.
- Ensure proper execution of civil works including concrete, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, waterproofing,



and MEP coordination.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and material testing.
- Identify site issues and escalate to senior engineers with recommended solutions.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and site regulations.
- Assist in preparation of as-built drawings and project documentation.
- Support project planning and ensure activities are completed within scheduled timelines.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

Preferred Profile

- 0–3 years of experience in civil construction or project execution
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site practices
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
- Knowledge of quantity estimation and measurement will be an added advantage
- Ability to read and understand civil, structural, interior, and MEP drawings
