Key responsibilites:

Edit and proofread manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, syntax, spelling, and consistency.

Improve clarity, readability, and flow while maintaining the author’s tone and style.

Ensure adherence to editorial and formatting guidelines.

Fact-check references, citations, and basic content accuracy where required.

Collaborate with editors, and internal teams to enhance manuscript quality.

Review manuscripts for linguistic precision and structural coherence.

Maintain consistency in language, terminology, and style across projects.

Meet editorial deadlines and manage multiple manuscripts simultaneously.

Qualification:

Robust command of English language and grammar.

Proven experience in copyediting, language editing, or publishing.





Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.

Familiarity with style guides (APA, Chicago, MLA, etc., if relevant).

Ability to preserve the author’s queries while improving readability.

Proficiency in editing tools and document management software.

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
