Role Description The Junior Architect will support interior and furniture design projects, contributing to concept development, architectural drawings, and 3D visualizations aligned with Brownspell’s aesthetic and functional standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in space planning, coordinating with designers and craftspeople, preparing detailed design documentation, and participating in client presentations and design reviews. The role also involves tracking project progress, helping with material selection, and ensuring designs are feasible and compliant with relevant guidelines.





This is a full-time hybrid role based in Chennai, with a mix of in office collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into practical interior and furniture solutions.
- Experience or exposure to Software Development and Integration related to design tools (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling software) to support efficient workflows.
- Basic Project Management skills, including task coordination, time management, and documentation to assist in delivering projects on schedule.
- Proficiency in design software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with visualization tools.
- Attention to detail, creativity, and a strong interest in personalized interiors and custom furniture.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with designers, craftspeople, and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field; internship or junior-level experience in interior or architectural design is an advantage.
