Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Production & Line Clearance ● Verify and approve batch codes before production. ● Conduct line clearance to ensure machine/area cleanliness and removal of previous product traces. ● Verify equipment setup and completion of required documentation.
2. In-Process Quality Monitoring ● Conduct hourly quality checks as per IPQA checklist. ● Check weight variation, labelling, printing, sealing, packaging integrity, leak tests, colour, texture, and aroma. ● Record observations and immediately escalate deviations to the concerned Production and QA teams. ● Hold the production line, wherever required, in case of critical quality issues.
3. Raw Material / Thal Material Inspection ● Inspect Bhimseni flakes and Thal material for colour, texture, consistency, foreign matter, and quantity. ● Record inspection results as Approved/Rejected with proper remarks and traceability.
4. Finished Goods Inspection ● Inspect and approve FG pallets before warehouse release. ● Verify batch code, PKD, MRP, barcode, FG code, labelling, net weight, and packaging condition. ● Ensure compliance with approved specifications and packaging standards.
5. 3rd-Party Finished Goods Inspection ● Inspect finished goods received from third-party manufacturers. ● Verify packaging, labelling, batch details, MRP, barcode, quantity, and approved artwork.
● Record inspection details including vendor, PO, batch, and receiving date. ● Raise NCRs and coordinate with QA/Supply Chain for deviations. ● Quarantine non-conforming stock until final disposition.
6. Documentation & GMP ● Maintain IPQA checklists, line clearance records, inspection reports, FG release records, and deviation/NCR documentation. ● Conduct GMP, hygiene, equipment, and area cleanliness checks. ● Prepare shift-wise quality reports and ensure proper handover to the next shift.
Qualification ● B.Sc. / Graduation in a relevant field (Preferred)
Key Skills ● Good knowledge of IPQA, GMP, Quality Control, and FMCG processes. ● Strong observation and documentation skills. ● Good communication and coordination skills. ● Attention to detail and ability to identify quality deviations. ● Willingness to work in a shift-based production workplace.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ● Timely batch code approval and line clearance. ● IPQA checklist compliance. ● Deviation identification and reporting. ● FG approval without rework. ● GMP compliance and audit scores. ● Accuracy and timely completion of quality documentation.
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
