Role Description The JR Accounting Specialist is a full-time, remote role responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations and basic accounting activities. This position assists in preparing and reviewing journal entries, maintaining accurate general ledger records, and helping with the production of financial statements and reports. The role includes working with accounting software to record transactions, reconciling accounts, and monitoring invoices and payments.





The JR Accounting Specialist collaborates with the finance team to ensure compliance with internal processes and supports month-end and year-end close activities. This role offers exposure to a dynamic digital services environment and opportunities to learn and grow within the accounting function.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of Finance and ability to interpret Financial Statements.
- Proficiency with Accounting Software and comfort working with digital financial tools.
- Capability to prepare and review Journal Entries (Accounting) and maintain accurate records.
- Strong Analytical Skills with attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work.
- Relevant education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Basic understanding of GAAP or standard accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time and priorities effectively.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and data entry is beneficial.
