- Review and evaluate an MFI's activity to maintain or improve the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and corporate governance.
- Organizing and conducting Audit in branches.
- Ensuring that branches internal controls result in prompt and accurate recording of transactions and proper safeguarding of assets.
- Determining whether branches comply with laws and regulations and adherence to established policies.
- Reporting and Communicating Audit Results to the seniors.
- Monitoring and following up of audit recommendations.
