We are looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable and high-quality software applications. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership to the development team, driving best practices, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers and provide technical guidance.
- Design, develop, and review scalable and maintainable Java applications.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
- Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, Business, and other teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Take ownership of technical deliverables and ensure timely completion.
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement, automation, and process enhancement.
- Conduct technical discussions and support the team in resolving development challenges.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend suitable technical improvements.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Java and J2EE.
- Strong knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot.
- Positive understanding of REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and design principles.
- Experience with Git/version control systems.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Good communication and team leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS/Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience in FinTech / Payment Gateway / Financial Services domain will be an added advantage.
Experience
6–10 years of relevant experience in Java development, with experience in a technical leadership role.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
