- Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in software and network system commissioning, configuration, and support, preferably in the Hydro industry.
- Experience integrating digital platforms with industrial control systems, SCADA systems, PLCs, RTUs and plant historians.
- Understanding of hydropower plant operational processes and automation architectures
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in industrial automation systems and software applications as well as industrial network protocols.
- Robust understanding IP Network design and deployment, Network Security - VPN, Firewall, Secure Connectivity and Troubleshooting
- Cloud Terminology - VPC, Network ACL, Security Group, Transit gateway, Internet Gateway, Direct Connect etc.
- Understanding of IT/OT Concepts - Manufacturing Network Setup and Manufacturing Firewall.
- Advance knowledge on Microsoft Server Operating System i.e. DHCP, DNS with exposure to Linux platform.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed for commissioning projects and customer support.
- Able to work in network structures and cross-functional, multi-cultural teams.
