Your Work Profile

As a Deputy Manager in our Business Tax Team, you will build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients, with the intention of exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with tax advisory assignments, including conducting in-depth research on tax technical matters.
- Prepare tax opinions, short notes, and email responses on day-to-day client tax matters.
- Undertake tax compliances, including filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, income tax provisions, and other tax filings such as SFT.
- Assist with tax assessment and litigation proceedings before assessing officers, income tax authorities, and higher appellate forums.



This includes drafting responses to audit notices and questionnaires, as well as representation before tax authorities for assessment, rectification, and other similar matters.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and enabling areas to support on-the-job work requirements.
- Train Assistant Managers and Executives to support their career development.
- Assist clients with tax technology solutions through licensing and/or managed services.
- Assist clients with end-to-end tax operating engagements.

Key Skills Required

- CA with 2 to 5 years of experience in Direct Taxation.
- Strong technical knowledge of direct taxation.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and people-management skills.
- Persistent and persuasive approach.
