Roles and Responsibilities :
- Prepare detailed estimates of construction costs, including material quantities, labor rates, and equipment rental fees.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and adjust estimates accordingly.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive cost plans and budgets for projects.
- Analyze financial data to optimize resource allocation and minimize waste.
Job Requirements :
- 4-11 years of experience in quantity surveying or a related field.
- Robust understanding of cost estimation principles, methods, and best practices.
- Proficiency in preparing accurate estimates using specialized software (e.g., CostX).
- Ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
