About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer with expertise in Java and microservices architecture to join our dynamic development team at UST. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern software engineering practices, including Spring Boot, messaging frameworks, and system design principles.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a strong educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields, with a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in backend development.



Proficiency in Core Java and extensive practical knowledge of Spring Boot are essential. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience with microservices architecture, messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ, and application security protocols such as JWT and OAuth2.

Strong expertise in unit testing frameworks, multithreading, concurrency, and algorithmic problem solving is required. Additionally, familiarity with design patterns, system architecture, and the ability to articulate technical decisions are crucial. Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and problem-solving are highly valued.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer at UST, your primary responsibilities will include designing and developing scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot, implementing microservices-based solutions, and ensuring system security and performance.
