Position: Project Manager / Manager-Civil Structural & Construction
Experience: 68 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.
Role Objective
SL LIVING SPACES PVT LTD is looking for experienced and technically strong Civil / Structural Engineering professionals
capable of handling end-to-end construction of industrial buildings, warehouses/godowns, office buildings and
associated infrastructure.
The candidate should have hands-on experience from initial site development, planning and foundations through
structural works, PEB/steel structures, roofing, flooring, office construction, utilities and final handover.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution

Handle construction projects from concept/basic planning to final completion and handover.
Study architectural, structural and civil drawings before execution.
Prepare project execution plans, construction schedules and activity-wise timelines.
Coordinate site mobilization, setting-out and commencement of works.
Monitor daily progress against approved project schedules.
Ensure projects are completed within time, budget, quality and safety requirements.

Preference will be given to candidates having direct experience in construction of industrial warehouses, steel
godowns, factory buildings, PEB buildings, logistics facilities, stockyards and office-cum-warehouse projects.

Read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, PEB vendors and other consultants.
Identify drawing discrepancies before execution.
Prepare/check BOQ and quantity requirements.
Review structural drawings, reinforcement details and BBS.
Coordinate revisions and obtain necessary technical approvals.
Maintain updated drawings at the project site.
Contractor & Vendor Management
•

Coordinate with civil contractors, structural fabricators, PEB contractors and specialized agencies.
Monitor contractor manpower and productivity.
Conduct daily/weekly contractor review meetings.
Ensure contractors work according to drawings, specifications and agreed timelines.
Verify work completion before certification of contractor bills.
Coordinate procurement and timely availability of construction materials.
Project Monitoring & MIS

Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.
Maintain project schedule and track delays.
Highlight critical activities and potential bottlenecks in advance.
Maintain site photographs and progress documentation.
Report project status, cost implications and critical decisions to management.
Conduct regular site review meetings.
Safety & Statutory Compliance
•

Ensure contractors follow proper construction safety practices.
Monitor PPE usage and secure working procedures.

Ensure safe scaffolding, excavation, lifting and working-at-height activities.




Coordinate required local/statutory approvals with consultants and management.
Maintain proper housekeeping and safe movement within the construction site.
Candidate Profile
•

68 years of experience.
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.
Robust expertise in structural engineering and industrial construction.
Proven experience independently handling projects from greenfield/site-development stage to final handover.
Experience managing warehouse/godown/factory/industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of RCC, structural steel and PEB construction.
Experience in BOQ, estimation, budgeting and contractor billing.
Strong contractor, consultant and vendor management skills.
Ability to lead engineers, supervisors and contractors.
Ability to independently report project progress, budget, delays, risks and corrective actions to management.
Knowledge of MS Project/Primavera will be an added advantage.

candidate. The selected person should be capable of taking ownership of a project and confidently handling site
development planning, foundation, RCC, structural/PEB works, roofing, flooring, office construction, utilities, external
development, finishing, testing, snag rectification and final handover.
The candidate should have a strong sense of ownership, planning, quality, cost consciousness and timely project
completion.
