Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining and supporting the companys IT infrastructure, systems, applications, networks, and end-user devices while ensuring data security, system availability, backup, and compliance with pharmaceutical industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, servers, network equipment, and other IT assets.
- Provide technical support to employees and resolve hardware/software issues.
- Monitor LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, internet connectivity, and network security.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business applications.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, passwords, and email systems.
- Perform regular data backup, restore testing, and disaster-recovery activities.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and software/license records.
- Monitor antivirus, endpoint security, firewall, and security updates.
- Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, logs, and system records.
- Support ERP, LIMS, QMS, manufacturing, warehouse, and other business applications as required.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Support GxP/regulated computerized systems and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Follow company procedures related to data integrity, audit trails, electronic records, and user access control.
- Assist during internal, customer, and regulatory audits by providing required IT records and evidence.
- Participate in IT risk assessments, change management, incident management, and system validation activities.
- Ensure IT systems and services remain available and secure for production and business operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT,or a related field.
- Typically 15 years of IT support/system administration experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, Healthcare, manufacturing, or another regulated industry.
- Valuable knowledge of Windows, networking, Active Directory, Microsoft 365/email, backup systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Knowledge of GxP, data integrity, CSV/CSA, and 21 CFR Part 11 is an advantage.
