Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to validate a digital healthcare operations platform used for provider onboarding, credentialing, document management, profile verification, workflow tracking, and compliance-sensitive operational processes. This role requires strong functional testing skills, careful attention to usability, and the ability to ensure complex workflows operate reliably across user roles, forms, dashboards, notifications, and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria to understand expected system behavior.
- Create and execute test cases for onboarding, credentialing, document upload, verification, approval, and reporting workflows.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, usability, and cross-browser testing for web-based features.
- Validate role-based access, permissions, data visibility, workflow statuses, and approval paths.
- Test form validations, document handling, notifications, audit trails, dashboards, and reporting accuracy.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, severity, and expected results.
- Work with product managers, developers, business analysts, and operations teams to clarify issues and confirm fixes.
- Support user acceptance testing, release validation, and post-release quality checks.
- Maintain test documentation, test evidence, and regression test suites.
- Help ensure the product meets quality expectations for accuracy, reliability, usability, and compliance-sensitive workflows.
Required Skills and Experience
- 2 or more years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of QA processes, test case design, defect lifecycle, and regression testing.
- Experience testing web-based applications with forms, workflows, dashboards, documents, and user roles.
- Ability to understand business rules and translate them into transparent test scenarios.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
- Experience using defect tracking or project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar.
- Basic understanding of APIs, databases, or backend validation.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing healthcare, credentialing, compliance, human resources, onboarding, or document management systems.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Understanding of data privacy, auditability, and compliance-driven workflows.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.

- Defects are clearly documented and easy for developers to reproduce.
- Releases are tested thoroughly with minimal production issues.
