International Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented International Accountant to manage accounting operations related to international transactions, foreign currency, receivables, payables, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle international sales and purchase transactions.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Handle foreign currency transactions and exchange-rate adjustments.
- Prepare bank, customer, vendor, and ledger reconciliations.
- Track international payments, receipts, outstanding balances, and ageing.
- Verify invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with banks regarding international transactions and payments.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Maintain proper documentation for international transactions.
- Support tax, statutory, and audit-related requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and internal teams.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Ensure timely completion and closing of accounting activities.

Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.




- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Experience with international transactions and foreign currency accounting.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with international clients or vendors.
- Knowledge of export/import-related accounting.
- Good understanding of financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
