Chara is a Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup developing sustainable and highly efficient electric motors and controllers designed to reduce dependence on expensive rare earth materials while powering the future of clean mobility. Chara serves clients including Godrej and Greaves Cotton, with plans to scale production and grow revenue significantly in the coming year.

About the Role

This is a 6-month Marketing Internship offering direct, hands-on exposure to B2B marketing, content creation, and brand building at a company working at the frontier of electric motor technology. You'll work closely with the dedicated marketing lead, with strong performers eligible for full-time conversion at the end of the internship.

What You Will Do

1. Assist in creating content for LinkedIn, company newsletters, and other channels — including drafting posts, captions, and short-form articles
2. Support the development of sales collateral such as one-pagers, brochures, and product briefs
3. Help maintain and update the company website and marketing assets
4. Research market trends, competitors,



and target customer segments to support go-to-market planning
5. Assist in coordinating event participation, trade shows, and conference submissions (some domestic travel involved)
6. Track and report on content performance and social media engagement metrics
7. Support the team on investor communications and partnership outreach materials as needed

What We're Looking For

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or a related field
2. Solid written communication skills in English — clear, concise, and professional
3. Basic familiarity with LinkedIn, Canva, or similar content/design tools
4. Organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a small team environment
5. Open to penultimate- or final-year students and recent graduates (within 1 year of completion)
6. Prior internship, college project, or content creation experience is a plus; a writing/design portfolio is welcomed but optional
7. Curiosity about technology, sustainability, or the EV/clean energy space is a strong plus (no engineering background required)
