Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing interior concepts, preparing detailed layouts, and coordinating design solutions that align with project requirements and Tessellate’s design standards. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, preparing construction and presentation drawings, and coordinating FF&E; specifications with internal teams and external vendors.



The role involves collaborating closely with architects, project managers, and clients to ensure designs are functional, aesthetically coherent, and delivered on schedule.

The Interior

Designer will also support site visits, design reviews, and quality checks to ensure accurate implementation of design intent. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to create functional and cohesive layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to coordinate effectively with project teams and ensure buildable solutions.
- Experience with FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic visualization tools.
- Understanding of sustainable design principles and familiarity with contemporary materials and finishes.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong communication, client coordination, and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Attention to detail, time management skills, and readiness to work on-site and conduct regular site visits as required.
