Role Description As an Interior Designer intern at HomeLane, you will support the design team in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing home interiors for clients. This full-time, on-site role based in Ranchi involves assisting with space planning, preparing design concepts, and contributing to mood boards and material selections. You will help in drafting and updating construction drawings, coordinating FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and participating in site visits to understand project requirements and progress.

The role also includes collaborating with senior designers, vendors, and project managers, gathering client preferences, and maintaining accurate documentation of design changes and specifications. You will gain hands-on exposure to the end-to-end interior design process while working within project timelines and brand guidelines.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional, well-balanced layouts for residential spaces.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Architecture and the ability to understand building structures and design principles.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reading Construction Drawings to support accurate execution on site.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures &
- Equipment) selection and coordination for cohesive interior solutions.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Solid attention to detail, creativity, and an ability to visualize spaces and communicate ideas clearly.
- Effective collaboration skills, willingness to learn, and the ability to work on-site in Ranchi in a fast-paced project environment.
