Role Overview

As an Interior Designer at INLAY, you will own residential interior projects from the first client interaction to design closure and project handover. The role combines design expertise, client management, sales, presentation and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end client journey, from design consultation to project closure.

Understand client requirements, lifestyle, preferences and budget to develop suitable interior solutions.

Create and present design concepts, layouts, 3D visuals, material selections and proposals.

Prepare and review BOQs, quotations and design specifications accurately.

Lead client design meetings and drive design approvals and sales closure.

Coordinate with Design, Sales, Project Management, Vendors and Execution teams.

Ensure accuracy and quality of all design deliverables.

Manage client communication throughout the project and ensure a smooth customer experience.





Coordinate with site and execution teams to ensure designs are implemented as approved.

Maintain project timelines, documentation and follow-ups.

Identify opportunities for upgrades and additional requirements while staying aligned with the client’s needs.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related design field.

2–5 years of experience in residential interior design.

Experience in turnkey/full-home residential interiors is preferred.

Strong knowledge of modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture, materials and finishes.

Experience in preparing BOQs, quotations and design presentations.

Strong client-facing, communication and presentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with internal and external teams.

Strong understanding of design-to-execution processes.

Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D tools etc.
