Role Description The Interior BOQ Preparation role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The qualified in this role will prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for interior projects, including item descriptions, quantities, material specifications, and cost estimates. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing design drawings and layouts, coordinating with designers and project managers to understand scope, and updating BOQs throughout the project lifecycle.

The role involves verifying measurements, aligning BOQs with vendor quotations, supporting procurement with accurate data, and helping track budget adherence.



The individual will also assist in value engineering, cost optimization, and documentation to ensure clear, reliable information for project execution and client reporting.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in quantity surveying and BOQ preparation for interior projects, including measurement take-offs and cost estimation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and interior design drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Experience with relevant software such as MS Excel, spreadsheets, and basic CAD tools for measurements and documentation.
- Knowledge of interior materials, finishes, fixtures, and market rates, with the ability to compare vendor quotations and support procurement.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with designers, project managers, vendors, and site teams.
- Relevant education such as a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Prior experience in commercial interior projects or fit-out BOQ preparation is preferred.
