We are looking for an Insurance Analytics Consulting Leader to help shape and grow our Insurance Consulting practice.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership role for an experienced insurance consulting professional who can bridge insurance business strategy, analytics, AI, and transformation.

You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to identify high-value business opportunities, shape analytics and AI-led solutions, drive strategic accounts, support new business development, and lead consulting and transformation engagements.

The role offers an opportunity to build and influence Sigmoid's insurance consulting capabilities across Data Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, Product Engineering, and Business Consulting.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead strategic consulting engagements and transformation initiatives for insurance clients.
- Bring strong understanding of insurance business models, operating processes, value drivers, and industry dynamics.
- Understand insurance processes across sales, enrollment, eligibility, underwriting, policy issuance, premium collection, claims, customer servicing, and renewal.
- Translate insurance business challenges into analytics, AI/ML,



and technology-led solutions.
- Identify opportunities across claims, underwriting, customer analytics, policy servicing, distribution, and absence management.
- Build and strengthen relationships with senior business, operations, claims, actuarial, technology, and analytics stakeholders.
- Partner with Sales and Business Development teams on go-to-market strategy, opportunity identification, solutioning, and account growth.
- Lead consultants and subject matter experts across client engagements and transformation programs.
- Provide strategic guidance, facilitate client workshops, and drive thought leadership in insurance analytics and AI.
- Help define scalable transformation roadmaps leveraging Data Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, GenAI, workflow automation, and digital platforms.

What We're Looking For

- 10–15 years of experience in insurance consulting, analytics consulting, AI/ML transformation, or data-driven business consulting.
- Strong insurance domain expertise, preferably across Disability, Life, Supplemental Benefits, or Group Insurance.
- Strong understanding of insurance data and process landscapes, including customer, policy, claims, billing, agent/broker, operational, and third-party data.




- Experience working with senior client stakeholders on strategic initiatives and analytics-led transformation.
- Strong understanding of at least one of Data Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, digital product development, or consulting-led transformation.
- Proven experience in client management, delivery leadership, pre-sales, account growth, and consulting solution development.
- Excellent executive communication, problem-solving, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to connect business problems with analytics and technology solutions and develop scalable transformation roadmaps.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting setting with high levels of ownership.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in Disability Insurance, including short-term/long-term disability, wage replacement models, and return-to-work journeys.
- Exposure to Life & Supplemental Benefits and Absence & Leave Management.
- Experience with claims analytics, customer analytics, risk analytics, data platforms, and AI-led insurance transformation.
- Active B1 visa and willingness to travel extensively to the US.
