Role & responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance &
- Troubleshooting

- Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of field instrumentation across wellheads, gas/oil separators, manifolds, compressors, dehydration units, and flare systems.

- Troubleshoot and calibrate field transmitters (Pressure, Temperature, Flow, Level), control valves, smart positioners, shutdown valves (SDVs/BDVs), and solenoids.

- Maintain custody transfer and fiscal metering equipment (multiphase flow meters, orifice meters, turbine/coriolis meters, gas chromatographs).

1. Control &
- Safety Systems (PLC / SCADA / DCS)

- Support the operation and loop-checking of PLC/SCADA/DCS systems, RTUs, and Wellhead Control Panels (WHCP).

- Inspect, test, and maintain Emergency Shutdown (ESD), Fire &
- Gas (F&G;) detection systems (toxic gas, combustible gas, flame detectors, manual call points).

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, including P&IDs;, instrument loop diagrams (ILD), hook-up drawings, wiring schematics,



and cause-and-effect matrices.

1. Supervisory &
- Field Operations

- Supervise junior technicians and contract personnel to ensure all site activities adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Prepare daily instrument logs, maintenance reports, calibration records, and defect notifications.

- Manage site inventory of critical spares, consumables, tools, test benches, and calibration equipment (e.g., HART communicators, dry block calibrators, deadweight testers).

1. HSE &
- Compliance

- Strictly enforce Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols for hazardous area activities (Zone 0/1/2, Class I Div 1/2).

- Ensure all equipment and installations comply with DGMS, OISD, PNGRB, and ATEX/IECEx standards.

- Actively participate in site safety drills, toolbox talks, and incident prevention programs.
