Responsibilities

- Deliver AI-powered product features by collaborating with product domain and foundational AI teams, focusing on intelligent automation like claims extraction.
- Design and develop APIs and integration layers that connect AI capabilities with real-world healthcare product workflows.
- Leverage reusable AI services such as OpenAI-based extractors and chat tools to accelerate feature development.
- Write production-quality software using C#.NET, JavaScript, and REST/SOAP APIs, following best practices in code quality, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Architects, and Data Scientists to align on goals and deliverables.
- Embrace agile practices by actively participating in sprints,



planning sessions, retrospectives, and demos.

Essential Skills for Creating a Lasting Impact

- Abilities: Strong programming skills in C#.NET and JavaScript (React or Angular preferred), with proficiency in building and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs. Familiarity with AI/ML technologies such as large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and service orchestration.

Qualifications

- Experience: 3+ years of skilled software engineering experience in enterprise or SaaS environments. Hands-on experience integrating or building backend services, working with data APIs or pipelines, and deploying to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) using CI/CD practices. Preferred: Experience integrating AI services (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face) and working with document extraction, chatbots, or NLP workflows.
- Background: Background in healthcare IT, including claims processing or standards like HL7 or FHIR a plus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
