Role Description The Information Technology Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems that support Pothys’ retail operations and omnichannel initiatives. This role includes managing IT infrastructure, networks, and security, ensuring high availability and performance of hardware, software, and business applications across stores and corporate offices.

The Information Technology

Manager will lead and mentor an IT team, coordinate with vendors and service providers, and manage IT budgets and procurement. Daily responsibilities include monitoring system health, resolving technical issues, supporting end users, enforcing data protection and compliance standards,



and driving technology upgrades aligned with business goals. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to identify technology needs, implement process improvements, and support digital transformation projects in retail and e-commerce.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong IT infrastructure and systems management skills, including experience with servers, networks, operating systems, and cloud or hybrid environments.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in IT security and compliance, covering data protection, access control, backup and recovery, and adherence to relevant standards and policies.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in application and retail systems management, such as POS systems, ERP platforms, e-commerce tools, and integration between online and offline channels.
- Candidates should possess skills in IT project management and vendor coordination, including planning, execution, budgeting, and monitoring of implementation and support activities.
- Candidates should possess leadership and people management abilities, with experience guiding IT teams, setting priorities, and promoting a collaborative, service-oriented culture.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, networking, security, cloud) are beneficial.
