Key Responsibilities:
- Lead rolling mill production across shifts, from billet charging and reheating furnace to finishing, cooling bed and bundling, to meet daily production and quality targets
- Ensure optimum mill yield, productivity and rolling schedule, with minimal downtime, roll changes and cobbles
- Maintain product quality as per BIS/IS standards, control rejections and coordinate with maintenance, quality and stores teams
- Manage shift manpower, enforce safety practices and drive fuel and energy savings
Desired Candidate:
- Experience in Hot Rolling Mill mandatory.
- Relevant experience in the respective role.
- Robust teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work at the Asansol location.
