Role Description The Import Export Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end import and export process, including documentation, shipment coordination, and communication with freight forwarders, customs agents, and regulatory authorities. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing shipping and customs documents, tracking consignments, ensuring compliance with trade regulations, and resolving operational issues related to international shipments.

The specialist will maintain accurate records,



coordinate with internal teams such as procurement and sales, negotiate basic terms with logistics partners, and support cost-effective, timely delivery of goods to global destinations.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge and practical experience in Import, Export, and Import Export operations.
- Understanding of International Trade principles, regulations, and trade documentation.
- Experience with Customs Brokerage processes and coordination with customs and regulatory agencies.
- Familiarity with logistics, shipping terms (Incoterms), and basic freight and insurance concepts.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.
- Effective communication skills for working with internal teams and international partners.
- Proficiency with MS Office and basic ERP or trade management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in agro commodities or manufacturing export-import operations is an advantage.
