Key Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in export and import documentation, preferably with a CHA or freight forwarding company.
- Robust knowledge of customs regulations, export-import procedures and trade documentation.
- Proficiency in Visual Impex software is mandatory.
- Experience in preparing, reviewing and processing export/import documentation.
- Good knowledge of invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and other shipping/customs documents.
- Ability to coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, shipping companies, clients and internal teams.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle documentation-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify export and import documentation.
- Ensure documentation complies with applicable customs regulations and trade requirements.
- Use Visual Impex for generation and management of export/import documentation.
- Coordinate with customs authorities and other stakeholders to resolve documentation discrepancies.
- Maintain proper records and generate reports as required.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, clients and internal departments for timely clearance.
- Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes and operational efficiency.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
