Key Responsibilities

- Design HVAC systems including air conditioning, ventilation, exhaust, pressurization, and smoke management systems.

- Perform HVAC load calculations using industry-standard software.

- Prepare equipment selection and sizing for chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, cooling towers, fans, ductwork, and piping systems.

- Develop HVAC layouts, duct routing, piping layouts, and equipment room plans.

- Prepare detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP/BIM.

- Generate HVAC schematics, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and pressure drop calculations.

- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), technical specifications, and tender documents.

- Coordinate HVAC designs with electrical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, and architectural disciplines.

- Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NBC, IS Codes, local authority regulations, and project specifications.

- Review vendor submittals, technical data sheets, and shop drawings.

- Participate in design review meetings and provide engineering support during project execution.

- Assist site teams in resolving design-related technical issues.

- Optimize HVAC designs for energy efficiency, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness.

Required Qualifications





- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

- 2–8 years of experience in HVAC design for MEP projects.

- Experience in commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, residential towers, industrial facilities, or data centers is preferred.
