Role Description This is a full-time, on-site HVAC Design Engineer role located in Vikroli, Mumbai. The HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for designing HVAC and related building services systems pharmaceutical facilities, including load calculations, equipment selection, and layout development.

Daily tasks include preparing design drawings and specifications, reviewing codes and standards, and ensuring designs meet safety, efficiency, and sustainability requirements. The role involves collaborating with project managers,



architects, and other engineers, participating in design reviews, and supporting site teams during installation and commissioning. The HVAC Design Engineer will also contribute to cost estimates, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of design processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in HVAC Design and HVAC system planning for industrial and commercial facilities.
- Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering skills, including understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
- Candidates should possess the ability to perform accurate engineering Calculations for load estimation, equipment sizing, and duct/piping design.
- Relevant experience with CAD software and HVAC design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) is beneficial.
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASHRAE, ISHRAE, local building codes) is advantageous.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; prior experience in HVAC design for industrial or process plants is preferred.
