Company Description Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital (SCEH), founded in 1926 by Dr. Sorabji P. Shroff, is one of North India’s largest tertiary eye care institutes and has completed a century of service.

Guided by the belief that sight is a human right, SCEH’s Board mandates that at least half of all surgeries are non-paying or highly subsidised, ensuring dignified access to high-quality care for all. The hospital’s network spans Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand, with 7 Surgical Centres and over 100 Vision Centres, serving more than 14 million patients in the last decade. As part of its centenary initiative “Sambhav: SCEH 2.0,” the institution is investing in stem cell research, digital patient care, and training future global eye care leaders.

SCEH offers comprehensive services including cataract, cornea and eye bank, glaucoma, vitreo-retina, paediatric ophthalmology, ocular oncology, vision rehabilitation, public health, and education and training.

Role Description The Human Resources Officer will support the full HR lifecycle to ensure a fair, transparent, and efficient work environment aligned with the hospital’s mission and values. Day-to-day responsibilities include administering HR policies and procedures, maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and assisting with development across departments. The role involves managing employee relations, coordinating performance management processes,



facilitating training and development initiatives, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and institutional guidelines.

The Human Resources

Officer will collaborate closely with department heads to address staffing needs, promote staff engagement, and support continuous improvement of HR practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Recent Delhi.

Qualifications

- Strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, with experience across core HR functions.
- Ability to develop, implement, and interpret HR Policies that support organizational goals and legal compliance.
- Proficiency in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and promoting a respectful workplace culture.
- Experience in Development, role mapping, and supporting structured recruitment processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field; postgraduate HR qualification or certification is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Indian labor laws, HR best practices, and HRIS or HR software tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to equity and inclusion in all HR processes.
