– HR Executive (Labour Compliance)
About DENSOL EngineeringDENSOL Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is a Bengaluru-based EPCM firm. We design and deliver cleanroom, MEP and laboratory infrastructure for pharma and biotech clients. Our projects run with a mix of direct employees and subcontracted site workforce, so labour compliance is central to how we operate.
Key responsibilitiesLabour compliance• Manage PF, ESI, Professional Tax (Karnataka) and Labour Welfare Fund registrations, monthly contributions and returns.
- Maintain registers, licences and returns under the Shops & Establishments Act, Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages, Payment of Bonus, Payment of Gratuity and Maternity Benefit Acts.
- Handle Contract Labour (CLRA) compliance as principal employer: registration, contractor licences, and monthly verification of contractors' PF, ESI and wage records.
- Ensure BOCW registration and cess compliance for construction project sites.
- Track and implement changes under the new Labour Codes, including the revised wage definition and its effect on PF and gratuity.
- Prepare for and handle labour department inspections, notices and client compliance audits.
- Maintain a statutory compliance calendar and a monthly compliance checklist for each project site.
HR policy and operations• Draft, update and communicate HR policies: leave, attendance, travel, code of conduct, POSH, grievance and disciplinary procedure.
- Run the POSH Internal Committee process and annual reporting.
- Manage onboarding,
employee records, confirmations, exits and full-and-final settlements.
- Coordinate payroll inputs: attendance, leave, statutory deductions and reimbursements.
- Support recruitment, induction and performance review cycles.
- Keep HR data accurate in the company ERP and prepare monthly HR and compliance MIS for management.
Requirements• MBA / PGDM in HR, MSW (HR / Labour Welfare), or a degree plus diploma in Labour Law or Personnel Management.
- 4–8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years personally handling statutory filings and registers.
- Hands-on use of the EPFO, ESIC and Karnataka labour department portals.
- Working knowledge of CLRA, BOCW, Shops & Establishments and wage-related Acts, and the new Labour Codes.
- Experience drafting HR policies and running a POSH Internal Committee.
- Faced at least one labour inspection or compliance audit and closed it.
- Robust in MS Excel; comfortable with an HR or ERP system.
- Clear written and spoken English and Kannada.
Preferred• Experience in construction, EPC, MEP, facility management or a manpower / payroll compliance firm.
- Experience managing compliance across multiple project sites or contractors.
- Membership of NIPM or a similar HR body.
