Aguante.in is a growing sportswear and athleisure brand with manufacturing, D2C e-commerce and retail operations. We are looking for a hands-on HR Manager who can independently manage the complete HR function and help us build the right team, processes and culture as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Team Building

- Own recruitment across Manufacturing, Retail Stores, E-commerce, Marketing, Operations and Corporate functions.
- Understand manpower requirements and prepare effective JDs for each position.
- Conduct market salary benchmarking and recommend appropriate salary ranges.
- Source, screen and shortlist candidates through job portals, references, agencies and other channels.
- Manage interviews, salary negotiations, offers and finalization.
- Ensure background/document verification and joining within defined TATs.
- Build a strong talent pipeline for the company's future requirements.

Manufacturing & Blue-Collar HR

- Manage HR and employee lifecycle for production operators, workers, helpers, supervisors and other manufacturing employees.
- Work with the Manufacturing Unit Manager on manpower planning and workforce requirements.
- Manage attendance, leave, overtime, payroll inputs, discipline and employee relations.

Retail HR

- Manage the complete lifecycle of retail store employees from hiring to exit.
- Coordinate with Store Managers for manpower requirements and employee-related issues.
- Monitor store headcount, absenteeism, attrition, attendance and manpower availability.
- Support transfers, promotions, performance and disciplinary matters.

E-commerce & Corporate HR





- Manage hiring and employee lifecycle for e-commerce, customer care, marketing, design, technology, accounts and other white-collar teams.
- Ensure the right talent is hired based on both role requirements and organizational culture.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

- Manage the complete employee lifecycle:
- Hiring → Documentation → Onboarding → Attendance → Leave → Payroll → Performance → Engagement → Grievance → F&F; → Exit
- Maintain accurate employee master data, personnel files and HR documentation.
- Manage HMS and payroll software and ensure accurate HR records.Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Manage monthly payroll inputs and coordinate timely salary processing.
- Handle attendance, leave, overtime, deductions and other payroll inputs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable PF, ESIC, PT, Bonus, Gratuity, TDS and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with CA/payroll consultants and maintain compliance records.

Employee Engagement & Employee Relations

- Build and maintain a positive work environment across manufacturing, stores and corporate teams.
- Drive employee engagement, team motivation and communication initiatives.
- Handle grievances, conflicts, disciplinary matters and employee concerns.
- Work closely with managers to resolve people-related issues.

Performance & HR Process Development

- Support performance management, appraisals and employee development.
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs and processes as the organization grows.




- Identify HR gaps and introduce practical systems to improve efficiency and employee experience.

Exit & F&F;

- Manage resignation, notice period and exit formalities.
- Coordinate Full & Final Settlement and clearance processes.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyse attrition trends.

HR MIS & Analytics

- Prepare monthly HR dashboards covering:
- Headcount
- Hiring & open positions
- Recruitment TAT
- Attrition
- Absenteeism
- Manpower cost
- Payroll
- Employee engagement
- Provide HR insights to management to support business decisions.

Mandatory Requirements

- 4–5 years of hands-on HR Generalist / HR Manager experience.
- Experience managing both blue-collar and white-collar employees.
- Experience handling retail/store employees is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with HMS and Payroll Software is MANDATORY.
- Strong practical experience in end-to-end recruitment and employee lifecycle management.
- Good understanding of payroll, statutory compliance and HR operations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage HR in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment.

The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who can build the HR function, not just perform HR activities.

The person should be comfortable managing people across Manufacturing + Retail + D2C/E-commerce, be hands-on with day-to-day HR operations, and have the maturity to work directly with management on people, culture, hiring and organizational growth.

Key Objective

Build the right team at the right time, establish scalable HR processes, ensure smooth employee lifecycle and compliance, and create an engaged, disciplined and high-performance culture that supports Aguante.in's growth.

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
