Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced HR Head with 12-15 years of experience to lead the HR function and establish structured people processes across the organisation.
The position will work closely with senior management and department heads to support manpower planning, talent acquisition, employee management, performance systems, HR policies, compliance coordination and people development.
Key Responsibilities1. HR Leadership & Business Partnership
- Lead the overall HR function and ensure effective execution of HR processes.
- Partner with senior management and department heads on workforce and people matters.
- Identify organisational HR requirements and implement practical solutions.
- Establish clear HR processes, ownership and reporting mechanisms.
2. Manpower Planning & Talent Acquisition
- Develop manpower plans based on business requirements.
- Manage recruitment for corporate, sales, showroom, operations and support functions.
- Lead sourcing, screening, interviews, selection and offer negotiations.
- Build talent pipelines for key and recurring positions.
- Track vacancies, hiring timelines and recruitment effectiveness.
3. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage joining, induction, confirmation, transfers, promotions and exits.
- Ensure completion and maintenance of employee documentation.
- Maintain accurate personnel records and HRMS data.
- Coordinate exit clearance and Full & Final Settlement requirements.
4. Employee Relations
- Handle employee grievances, workplace concerns and interpersonal issues.
- Support disciplinary proceedings and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Advise managers on employee-related matters.
- Promote professional workplace practices and effective employee communication.
5. Performance Management
- Manage the organisation's PMS cycle.
- Coordinate KRA/KPI setting and periodic performance reviews.
- Track probation and confirmation assessments.
- Coordinate appraisal, increment and promotion processes.
- Identify performance gaps and facilitate improvement plans.
6. Attendance, Leave & Payroll Coordination
- Oversee attendance and leave records.
- Review monthly payroll inputs for accuracy.
- Coordinate with Accounts/Payroll for salary processing.
- Provide inputs for LOP, incentives, increments, deductions, new joiners and exits.
- Coordinate payroll-related employee queries and F&F; inputs.
7. HR Policies & Process Management
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs and guidelines.
- Review existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies across departments.
- Communicate policy changes and ensure employee awareness.
8. HR Compliance
- Maintain required employee and HR compliance records.
- Coordinate applicable statutory requirements with consultants or relevant internal teams.
- Support audits, inspections and compliance documentation.
- Monitor statutory requirements relevant to the organisation and escalate issues when required.
9. HR MIS & Analytics
- Prepare monthly HR reports and management dashboards.
- Monitor headcount, attrition, recruitment, attendance, leave and employee movement.
- Analyse workforce data and highlight significant trends or concerns.
- Provide accurate HR information to support management decisions.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong expertise in HR Generalist and HR Operations.
- Excellent understanding of recruitment and manpower planning.
- Solid employee relations and grievance-handling capability.
- Working knowledge of Indian employment and statutory requirements.
- Strong HR MIS and analytical reporting capability.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office and HRMS/HRIS platforms.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters professionally.
- Strong decision-making, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience Required
- 12–15 years of progressive HR experience.
- At least 5 years in an HR Manager / Senior HR Manager / equivalent role.
- Experience independently managing HR for a growing organisation.
- Experience working directly with senior management and department heads.
Preferred Industry Experience Candidates from the following sectors will be preferred:
