– Housekeeping Supervisor

About the Role

We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations at our student housing property. The role will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across resident rooms, common areas, and facilities while ensuring a positive living environment for students.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
- Allocate duties and prepare daily housekeeping schedules based on occupancy and operational requirements.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained across resident rooms, corridors, common areas, washrooms, lounges, dining areas, and other facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure housekeeping standards are consistently followed.
- Monitor cleaning of rooms during check-ins, check-outs, room changes, and routine operations.
- Coordinate with the Operations and Maintenance teams for housekeeping-related issues and repairs.
- Ensure adequate availability and proper usage of cleaning materials, equipment, linen, and other housekeeping supplies.
- Maintain housekeeping inventory and minimize unnecessary consumption and wastage.
- Train housekeeping staff on SOPs, hygiene standards, safety practices, and professional conduct.
- Address resident housekeeping complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline,



and productivity.
- Coordinate deep-cleaning activities, pest-control schedules, and periodic housekeeping tasks.
- Ensure proper handling and reporting of lost & found items.
- Maintain housekeeping checklists, inspection reports, stock records, and daily operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping SOPs.

Candidate Profile
- Graduate/Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in housekeeping supervision, preferably in hotels, hostels, student housing, co-living, serviced apartments, or similar environments.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and hygiene standards.
- Good team-management and communication skills.
- Ability to handle resident concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Comfortable working in a quick-paced, resident-focused environment.
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping inventory and reporting.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
