Responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department to ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean, hygienic, well-maintained, and presented according to hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff, including Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants, and Housemen.

- Allocate rooms and daily duties to housekeeping staff according to occupancy and operational requirements.

- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and other assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards.

- Ensure rooms are cleaned, serviced, and released on time for guest arrivals.

- Check linen, towels, amenities, cleaning supplies, and housekeeping equipment.

- Report maintenance issues and follow up with the Engineering/Maintenance Department.

- Handle guest requests and housekeeping-related complaints professionally and promptly.

- Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping employees on hotel procedures, cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.

- Maintain proper records of room status, lost and found items, inventory, and housekeeping activities.

- Coordinate with Front Office regarding room status, VIP arrivals, early check-ins, late check-outs, and special requests.





- Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and housekeeping equipment.

- Monitor staff grooming, attendance, discipline, and adherence to hotel policies.

- Conduct regular inspections and take corrective action when standards are not met.

- Ensure compliance with hotel hygiene, health, safety, and security procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma/Degree or certificate in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred.

- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is required.

- Experience as a Room Attendant/Housekeeping Executive or similar role is an advantage.

- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hotel PMS is preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
