Deep Into India (www.deepintoindia.in) is an early-stage travel startup dedicated to showcasing authentic, immersive, and offbeat travel experiences across India. We connect travelers with passion-driven local hosts, homestay owners, and unique experience creators.

We are currently piloting our launch in the historic city of Varanasi! As an early-stage startup, this is an exciting ground-floor opportunity. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive Host Onboarding Intern to join our remote team and help us build our host network from scratch.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

- Host Acquisition & Outreach: Identify and connect with potential homestay owners, local guides, and experience creators in Varanasi.
- Guide New Hosts: Act as the primary point of contact for recent hosts. Walk them through our platform and help them set up their profiles and listings.
- Profile Optimization: Review submitted listings to ensure they feature high-quality descriptions, accurate details, and beautiful photos before going live.
- Problem Solving:



Answer host queries via WhatsApp, email, or brief calls regarding account setup and website navigation.

Who You Are (Requirements)

- A college student or recent graduate eager to experience the fast-paced environment of an early-stage startup.
- Fluent in English and Hindi (strong Hindi communication is highly preferred for coordinating with hosts in Varanasi).
- A self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and loves taking ownership of tasks.
- Patient, empathetic, and excellent at building relationships over the phone or text.
- Passionate about travel, culture, and showcasing the essence of India.
