Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and trained Ayurveda Staff Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care and assist with classical Ayurvedic treatments. In this role, you will bridge holistic patient care with clinical nursing, overseeing Panchakarma therapy preparation, administering herbal formulations, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their healing journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care & Monitoring: Record vital signs, take patient histories, and monitor clinical progress during inpatient (IPD) or outpatient (OPD) stays.
- Therapy Assistance: Prepare and assist Vaidyas (Ayurvedic Doctors) with Panchakarma procedures (e.g., Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasyam, Raktamokshana).
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed Ayurvedic medications (Kashayam, Arishta, Churna, Vati) accurately and follow strict timing protocols.
- Hygiene & Sanitation: Maintain strict cleanliness, sterilization, and hygiene standards in Panchakarma therapy rooms, wards, and procedure areas.
- Patient Education: Instruct patients on dietary guidelines (Pathya/Apathya), treatment protocols, and home-care recovery routines.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed nursing notes, treatment logs, and inventory for oils, herbs, and medical supplies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma in Ayurvedic Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing (with training/certification in Ayurveda) or GNM diploma from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 1–3 years of clinical nursing experience in an Ayurvedic hospital or Panchakarma center.
- Knowledge: Sound understanding of Panchakarma therapies, classical Ayurvedic formulations, and basic emergency care.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, empathy, attention to detail, and physical stamina.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
