Role Description The Health Safety Environment Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies across facade fabrication and installation activities. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments; ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company HSE standards; and preparing and maintaining safety documentation and reports.

The officer will organize safety training and toolbox talks, oversee the use of personal protective equipment, and support incident/accident investigations and corrective actions.



The role also involves coordinating with project managers, site supervisors, and external agencies to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in workplace safety practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Workplace Safety skills, with experience implementing safety procedures at construction or fabrication sites.
- Candidates should possess Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health knowledge, including risk assessment and control measures for workers and the surrounding environment.
- Candidates should possess NEBOSH or equivalent safety certification, demonstrating formal training in health, safety, and environmental management.
- Relevant experience in construction, facade installation, or engineering projects, preferably in a supervisory or officer-level HSE role.
- Familiarity with Indian safety regulations, building codes, and standards related to construction and fabrication activities.
- Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to conduct training sessions and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Proven ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, and make sound decisions under time and operational constraints.
